In case you are unable to decode the message, here is the happy news: Malayalam heroine Navya Nair is poised to play on the home pitch after a long time, to use cricket parlance.
She is one of the two heroines in the film titled ‘Alibhai’, directed by Shaji Kailash. The other heroine is Gopika .
It is not as if Navya has no films in Tamil. After the Cheran-starrer, Mayakannadi , which has not done too well at the box office, Ms Nair is doing a movie directed by Jayaraj.
Meanwhile, she has received a call from neighbouring Telugu cinema as well. The grapevine would have us believe that Navya has been signed up to play the female lead in a Telugu flick being produced under a prestigious banner.
