Comely Kavya Madhavan was over the moon when she secured, at long last, a chance to act with Malayalam megastar Mammootty .
Alas! Kavya's joy has proved short-lived. The latest reports from Mollywood say the doe-eyed beauty has decided to opt out of the move.
The reason: Well, the diminutive heroine is said to be unhappy about sharing screen space with another heroine. The producers have roped in upcoming actress Vimala Raman , too.
The buzz is that as a result Kavya's role has been drastically curtailed and Vimala gets more prominence. This has not been to the liking of guileless Kavya, who is in no mood to play second fiddle to Vimala.
Hence her decision to opt out of the prestigious project. She is said to have even returned the advance. It must have been a painful decision for Kavya to make.
