The year 2007 is turning out to be fabulous for Malayalam megastar Mohanlal .
In a way, the talented actor has scored a hat-trick of success. All the three films of his released this year have become hits.
The movies are: ‘Baba Kalyani’, ‘Chhota Mumbai’ and now, ‘Hallo’. ‘Baba Kalyani’, says the buzz, has completed a 100-day run already. ‘Chhota Mumbai’ is nearing hundred days in a number of centres.
As for ‘Hallo’, the flick has had the best opening for a Malayalam film this year. And indications are that ‘Hallo’ is on the way to becoming one of the all-time hits of Malayalam cinema.
The icing on the cake for Mohanlal is that he will have as many as six heroines for his next venture, ‘College Kumaran’ in which he plays a college student.
