Here is the big news as far as Malayalam cinema is concerned.
The flash is that ace director Priyadarshan will return to Malayalam cinema after being in the thick of things in Bollywood.
The grapevine tinkle has it that Priyan, who is the busiest director in Hindi cinema, will do a Malayalam film.
Who is the hero? Well, you might have already guessed it - and right too. Yes, the hero is none other than Priyan's favourite, Mohanlal .
The script of the film, which is expected to go on the floors in 2008, will be by the celebrated Malayalam writer M. T. Vasudevan Nair.
So, Malayalam film fans be prepared for another rollicking stuff from the Priyan-Mohanlal duo!
