It is again a mega clash between the mega stars of Malayalam cinema, Mammootty and Mohanlal .
In the last round, it was Mammootty who emerged the winner. His film, ‘Katha Parayumbol’ vanquished the Mohanlal-starrer, ‘Flash’ hands down at the box office.
The latest clash is between Mammootty’s ‘Roudram’ and Mohanlal’s ‘College Kumaran’, according to the grapevine.
Both ‘Roudram’ and ‘College Kumaran’ were released on Feb 1, Friday, 2008. The fans of the two megastars are engaged in a battle to outsmart each other with cut-outs and big banners of the films of their respective mega stars.
While ‘Roudram’ was made and distributed by Marikkar Films at 49 centres, Mohanlal's ‘College Kumaran' has completed a half century: 50.
So, the stage is set for a clash of the titans? Who will win this time round? Your guess is as good as mine!
