Honey Rose takes a second shot at stardom

A Keralite who hails from Thodupuzzha, Honey Rose is on a comeback trail. Her first two films – ‘Mudhal Kanavu’ with Vikranth in Tamil and Vinayan’s ‘Boy Friend’ in Malayalam were box office turkeys and did little to boost Honey’s fledgling career.

But now, Honey wants to make a new start and has signed two Telugu films. She’s also doing a Tamil film called ‘Kantharvan’ opposite a new boy named Kathir.


Talking about her second innings in the south film industry, Honey told a website: “I’m on the lookout for meaningful roles that will make me popular.”

Apparently, Honey is open to doing Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu films. She has an ambition of becoming another Nayantara who makes her mark throughout south India.

To begin with, Honey has changed her name and is raring to take on challenging roles. It remains to be seen how much of her dream is realized.
