Padmapriya makes an exception for Mammootty

The exception is for the Mammootty starrer ‘Daddy Cool’ in which Padmapriya has agreed to do a walk-in cameo. The movie is a comedy starring Richa Palod in female lead.

According to sources, even though the film is being directed by a first-timer named Aashiq Abu, Padmapriya agreed to play the cameo because she has a high regard for Mammootty.


Padmapriya is presently thrilled playing a Muslim girl in ‘Pokkisham’. It’s a period film that has Padma playing a character that loves literature. A lot of attention is being given to the look of her character of an upper-class Muslim girl in this film, which Padmapriya describes as an “emotion packed love story”.

By the way, the actress is also set to make her Bollywood debut in a film called Striker . Siddharth of Rang De Basanti fame is her co-star in the flick.
