There is no resting on the laurels for Rajnikant . Buoyed by the super success of Chandramukhi , the Tamil superstar is raring to go again, it seems.
Not surprisingly, 'Rajni Sir's sudden visit to Bangalore. has touched off a wave of speculation. The grapevine has it that Rajni is in talks with his friends in Kannada film industry to decide on the future course of action.
The buzz is that he will soon act in a film, which will be directed by his current favourite P. Vasu, who did a fabulous job in ‘Chandramukhi’.
Meanwhile, having 'smelt' the news, a host of producers are out to get the superstar's green signal for the next project. Among them are Editor Mohan, Panchu Arunachalam and AVM.
Of course, there was talk sometime back that Rajni will figure in the Tamil remake of the Hindi blockbuster Waqt – A Race Against Time in which Amitabh Bachchan played the lead role. But it is yet to be confirmed.
There are also reports that Rajni may do a movie for his erstwhile favourite director KS Ravikumar, who was cut up over the scrapping of the Rajni-starrer ‘Jaggu’ midway.
The grapevine also has it that as soon as he is back from Bangalore, Rajni is likely to announce his next project.
So, the producers of Kollywood are out in full strength to secure the nod of approval from the King of Kollywood. Who will win the race ? Time alone can tell.
