Sreekumaran His latest film, ‘Priyasakhi’ may not have taken the box office by storm, but it has certainly given Tamil hero Madhavan a new lease of life. Till ‘Priyasakhi’ happened, Maddy's career was a bit in the doldrums. But that is now a thing of the past. 
Mads is now back in circulation. Right now, he is doing two Tamil films. One is entitled ‘Thambi’ which is being directed by Sriman. Then there is ‘Arya’, a film being directed by Balasekharan. The boyish-looking hero is pinning great hopes on this film. Meanwhile, Madhavan is also hosting a TV show for Sony TV. The programme entitled "Deal Ya No Deal" will be telecast thrice a week. Acceptance of this offer had touched off speculation that Mads is bidding good-bye to the silverscreen. But the actor has denied any such intentions. And the fact that he is back in circulation shows that he is not calling it quits from films.
