Sreekumaran Tamil superstar Kamal Haasan must be a much relieved man, for the air of uncertainty on his in-the-making film, ‘Vettayadu Vilayadu’ is over at last. At one time, it looked as if the film would not be completed. The reason ? Two producers had washed their hands of the project in quick succession. 
First to opt out was producer Kaja Maideen. The harassed producer even went to the extent of committing suicide. Kamal and director Gowtham Menon intervened. Kaja agreed to finance the film. But then came the news that Kaja was finally out of it. Oscar Ravichandran offered to fund the show. Then came another twist in the tale with Oscar also chickening out, much to the chagrin of Kamal and Gowtham. The saviour has come in the form of Narayanan of 7th Channel, who will shell out the moolah for completing the project. The latest grapevine is that a happy Kamal and Gowtham have left for America to begin the shooting schedule. Gone also along with them is the entire entourage including heroine Jyothika . Let us hope the film encounters no further hiccups!
