She came, she saw and she conquered. This can be truly said of Bollywood heroine Katrina Kaif who has flown into Kollywood as part of her southern sojourn. So, the Trishas, Asins and Nayantaras, be forewarned!
Well, the latest on the model-turned actress is that she has been signed up to act against Vikram of Anniyan fame in a Tamil film.
The film, titled ‘Bheema’, will be directed by Linguswamy. The consummate actor that he is, Vikram is said to be putting on weight to suit the character in Bheema.
Kollywood buzz is that Ms Kaif is also keen on acting with Vikram, who has risen to no. 3 position in Tamil cinema in the wake of the fabulous run of his ‘Anniyan’.
Katrina has already firmed up her foothold in Telugu cinema. Her film with Balayya, called ‘Allari Pegudu’ has turned out to be a big hit. More offers are coming Katrina's way following the success of ‘Allari Pegudu’.
Then, she hopped over to neighbouring Mollywood where she is currently shooting for a film christened "Balaram Vs Taradas". In the film she is paired with Malayalam megastar Mammootty .
Having 'conquered' Tollywood and Mollywood, Ms Kaif has now set her sights on digging in her heels in Tamil cinema.
