Isha Koppikar is a name to be reckoned with in Bollywood. But Ms Koppikar is pining for more in reel life.
She yearns to do a film in Tamil! Why this fascination for Kollywood? Right question. The answer is, Isha finds the working ambience in Kollywood quite agreeable. Projects are finished on time, deadlines are kept unlike elsewhere. The gal can’t seem to stop singing the praise of Kollywood work culture!
Isha, incidentally, made her Tamil debut in the company of hero Prashanth years ago. Unfortunately for her, the film, ‘Kathal Kavithai’ bombed at the box office.
Unfazed, she hung on and did another film ‘En Shwasa Kaatte’ in which her hero was Aravind Swamy. The flick fared better. As a result, Isha got a number of offers. To mention a few: ‘Nenjinile’ with Vijay , and ‘Narasimma’ with Vijaya Kant.
In the meantime, Isha, whose favourite Tamil director is Agathiyan, got busy with her assignments in Bollywood. The hectic schedule in Mumbai made it difficult to realise her dream of being back in Kollywood.
Now, the screen scorcher, who has learnt Bharata Natyam as well, hopes to be able to fructify her plan in the not too distant future.
