That 1000-watt smile is back on the face of the ‘sultana of smiles’, Sneha .

Why not? Sneha’s reel life is on the upswing. She has shaken off the trauma in her personal life. And last but not the least, she has bagged an award too. What more can a young heroine ask for?

Such is Sneha’s confidence these days that the smiling sizzler has said no to an offer from the small screen!

Career-wise, Sneha has shaken off the blues and is set firmly on the path to fresh success, as per the Kollywood buzz. What is remarkable is that she is doing films not only in Kollywood but also in Malayalam and Telugu as well.

In Malayalam, Sneha is the heroine of the monarch of Mollywood Mammootty . The film titled ‘Thuruppugulan’ is slated for an April 14 release. Its success will pitchfork Sneha to the very top in Malayalam cinema.

In Tollywood, Sneha is pinning great hopes on ‘Sri Ramadasu’ featuring superstar Nagarjuna . The songs of the film have already become immensely popular.

As for home turn, her next film is ‘Puduppettai’. Incidentally, Sneha is playing a prostitute in the film. It is a challenging role many heroines had turned down. But Sneha had no hang-ups about doing it.

And now, Sneha has become the first recipient of the Soundarya award instituted by the Kannada Andhra Lalita Kala Academy. The award has been instituted after Soundarya , the Kannada-Telugu heroine, who died in an air crash in 2004. The award will be presented to Sneha at a function in Bellary on April 2, 2006.

No wonder, the roses are abloom on the chubby cheeks of the heroine with the most scintillating smile in southern cinema.
