Yes, Asin and Vijay , the two vibrant stars of Kollywood, are slated to work together again. The movie in question is the Tamil remake of the Telugu hit ‘Pokiri’. 
Reports have it that for some time Vijay has been toying with the idea of signing an actress from Bollywood for Pokri’s Tamil remake. But the actor eventually chose his ‘Sivakasi’ co-star Asin. The movie will also have Prakash Raj playing the main villain, as in the original. There has also been grapevine the movie’s producer Ramesh had approached directors Vishnuvardhan and Lawrence to direct the movie. But it is Prabhu Deva who has now been chosen to wield the megaphone. Incidentally, this will be Prabhu’s directorial debut in Tamil cinema. He has previously directed two Telugu films. The music for the film will be given by Mani Sharma, who composed for the Telugu original too. The film’s shooting is likely to begin from the first week of June.
