The hottest tiding from Kollywood these days is that Bollywood actor Nana Patekar has chosen to opt out of Tamil film, Bheema .
Producer AM Ratnam had persuaded Patekar to accept the villain role after Malayalam megastars Mammootty and Mohanlal said no to the same.
Now, the mercurial Nana, says the grapevine, is out of the film in which Vikram and Trisha Krishnan play the lead roles.
The buzz is that Nana is not happy about the remuneration he had been offered for the role.
Besides, he is also unhappy with the decision to dub the film in Telugu and Hindi.
If that was the case, Nana wanted a substantial hike in his fee. But producer Ratnam is learnt to have expressed his inability to agree to Nana’s claim.
Now, efforts are on to rope in popular villain Prakashraj to do the role Nana had agreed to do initially.
