The Number Two in Tamil cinema is on the look out for a heroine for his forthcoming film titled Pokkiri.
Pokkiri, for your information, is the Tamil remake of Telugu original which had Mahesh Babu as the hero.
Speculation was rife in Kollywood that either Asin or Trisha would secure the heroine’s role. Trisha is already on record that Vijay is her favourite co-star.
But the ‘Ilaya Dalapathi’ seems to be having other ideas these days! If the grapevine is to be believed, Vijay is keen to rope in Bhavana Puri , the current flavour of Tamil cinema, as his heroine in Pokkiri.
Vijay is anxious to ensure that Pokkiri becomes a mega hit. After all, you can’t blame him for being a bit cautious. His earlier flick, Aadhi did not exactly set the box office ‘on fire’. Once bitten, twice shy Vijay, therefore, wants to have the very best.
The million dollar question is : Can Bhavana, the busiest star in Kollywood, find the time?
