Wondering what the commotion is all about? Well, the flash is that Tamil hero Surya and his long-standing girlfriend, actress Jyothika are tying the nuptial knot on September 11, 2006. 
The confirmation has come from none other than Surya's father Sivakumar himself. The announcement came through a press release issued by Sivakumar which said: "With profound happiness, we inform you the marriage of our eldest son Mr. Surya with Miss Jyothika daughter of Mrs. & Mr. Chander Sadanah on Monday September 11, 2006". However, the venue of the star wedding is not known. All that is known is that the marriage will be attended only by close family members. Sivakumar is also planning a grand reception on Tuesday, September 12 at the Mayor Sri Ramanathan Chettiyar Centre, Chennai. The lover duo is meanwhile shooting in the cool climes of Switzerland for their forthcoming flick, ‘Sillunnu Oru Kadhal’. Congratulations, Surya and Jyothika!
