Tamil cinema's top glam girl Namitha has firmly ruled out doing any item numbers.
She made this clear when actor-director Silambarasan offered her an item number in his in-the-making film, ‘Vallavan’.
According to the grapevine, Namy baby refused to do item numbers because she feels it would adversely affect her career, which is going great guns right now.
Whatever the reason, Nami's decision must come as a relief for item specialists including Nayantara and Jyotirmoyi. For, had the well-endowed Nams accepted the offer from Silambarasan, she would have posed a real threat to them.
Meanwhile, Namitha is busy beavering away in Bangalore for her Kannada flick.
Once she completes her work in the movie, Nami would concentrate on her Hollywood movie, ‘Maya’.
Even without doing item numbers, Namitha sizzles on the silver screen. So, why go for item numbers and reduce the star value.
