Remember lovely Tamil actress Laila ? The diminutive damsel, who married long-standing beau recently, is in no mood to rest on her laurels.
The impression Laila gave when she tied the nuptial knot with her Iranian boyfriend was that she would no more act in films.
Well, obviously, the heroine has undergone a change of mind. What has prompted it? You might as well ask.
Here is the answer. Her last film, ‘Mahasamudram’ with Malayalam megastar Mohanlal is raking it in at the box office.
It is the stupendous success of ‘Mahasamudram’ that has encouraged Laila to go back on her decision to turn her back on the silver screen.
It must be said that Laila baby has chosen to blaze a new trail in this regard unlike many other Kollywood heroines who have settled down to quiet life post-marriage.
The latest to join the ranks of the retirees is Jyothika , who married boyfriend Surya and decided on fadeout.
Well, whatever the reason, Laila's decision to soldier on would delight her innumerable fans in Tamil film world as well as Mollywood.
