Tamil superstar Rajnikant has blazed many a trail in Indian cinema. The 'sultan of style' already has the distinction of being the highest paid Indian star.
Now the genial giant is all set to score another first in Indian silver screen. Rajni will become the first Indian actor to grace the silver screen in an animation film.
The 3-D animated film, titled ‘Superstar’, is being made by Rajni's daughter, Soundarya and Adlabs Films. Soundarya's Ocher Studio Pvt. Ltd. is producing the film, which will feature Rajni in his famed mannerisms and style.
The film, which is likely to see the light of the day in 2008, may become popular in countries like Japan, where Rajnikant enjoys immense popularity. Incidentally, Japan churns out some of the best animation movies.
Meanwhile, shooting fore the superstar’s Sivaji is complete. The Shankar -directed film is expected to be released in summer this year.
Highly impressed by director Shankar's work, Rajni believes ‘Sivaji’ will become a bigger hit than his biggest hit to-date, ‘Basha’.
