HOME | SCOOP!! & NEWS | DOWN SOUTH : TAMIL FICCI's date with living legend Kamal Haasan 17th Mar 2007  14.00 IST By P. Sreekumaran   He is already a living legend. But the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) has decided to make it official. Well, the tiding from Tamil film world is that super star Kamal Haasan has been conferred with the living legend award by the FICCI. The award will be presented to Kamal at a function to be held in Mumbai on March 28,2007. Union Information & Broadcasting Minister Priya Ranjan Das Munsi will preside over the function. Among the earlier recipients of the award are Dilip Kumar Lata Mangeshkar , Dev Anand , Asha Bhosle and Bollywood mega superstar Amitabh Bachchan . Kamal's stature has gone further up with the successful run his latest film ‘Vettayadu Vilayadu’ is having at the box office. The highly talented actor is now focused on the making of his magnum opus Dasavatharam in which he is playing ten roles. Congrats, Kamal. You richly deserve the honour.
