Rajnikant's 'Chandramukhi' creates a new record 26th June 2007

Even as Sivaji is taking the world by storm, super star Rajnikant 's earlier film Chandramukhi has created a new record.
The film starring Rajnikant, Jyothika , Prabhu and Nayantara , has completed 804 days in Chennai.
‘Chandramukhi’ has broken the record held so far by M. K. Thyagaraja Bhagavathar's film ‘Haridas’, released way back in 1944.
A function is being held in Chennai to celebrate the event. And Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi will preside over the function, which will be attended by Rajnikant, producers Ramkumar and Prabhu, director P. Vasu, music director Vidyasagar and the technicians associated with the making of ‘Chandramukhi’.
A special guest on the occasion, according to the grapevine will be the other super star of Kollywood, Kamal Haasan .
