Sreekumaran Even as Tamil superstar Rajnikant is luxuriating in the super success of his latest film, Sivaji , speculation has mounted on his future moves. At present, Rajni is in Europe busy helping his daughter Soundarya realise her dream project - an animation film featuring himself in the lead role.
The grapevine has it that India's highest paid hero will return to Kollywood in the middle of August. However, already the air is thick with talk that Rajnikant has decided to do a film for his mentor, veteran director K. Balachander. The film, it is said, will be produced by Balachander's production house, Kavithalaya. There are also reports that Rajni may associate Panju Arunachalam with his future movie. Incidentally, Panju has produced many of the Rajni hits of the 1970s and 1980s. Also in the 'race' for signing up the super star are Vijay productions and Sathya Jyothi Films, says the buzz. Most probably, Rajni's next film will be directed by K. S. Ravikumar who directed the super star in super hit films like Padayappa. . Incidentally, Padayappa is said to be Rajni's favourite film. Be that as it may, Kollywood is awaiting the return of Rajni in August middle. Till then, it is wait with a bated breath for millions of Rajni fans.
