 Deepika Padukone defers southern sojourn!

Tamil film fans will have to wait a little longer for Bollywood's newest sensation, Deepika Padukone to delight them on the big screen.
Speculation was rife that Deepika, who is riding high after the phenomenal success of Om Shanti Om may act in a Tamil film with Ajit in the lead role.
But the rumours have died out as fast as they had cropped up, according to Kollywood grapevine.
Well, the tiding is that Ms Padukone will not be south-bound, at least for now, having decided to concentrate on Bollywood.
The news from Bollywood is that Deepika, is all set to act in a film with Ranbir Kapoor of Saawariya fame to be directed by Siddharth Anand .
The news is bound to disappoint her innumerable south Indian fans. But then, the lissome beauty seems to have put off her southern sojourn, as of now.
