Tamil superstar Kamal Haasan is nothing if not a perfectionist. The actors’ actor simply won’t settle for anything short of the very best.
He has already commandeered the services of the very best in the industry for his magnum opus, Dasavatharam , expected to be released in April this year.
While the film’s music has been composed by the Bollywood sensation, Himesh Reshammiya , ‘Dasavatharam’ will also feature buxom Bollywood beauty, Mallika Sherawat , too. The film has Asin playing the female lead against Kamal.
Now, the icing of the cake, as it were, is that Hollywood star Jackie Chan himself may launch the movie’s music.
The grapevine has it that efforts are on to contact Chan in Japan to get his consent for the music launch likely to take place in Chennai in March.
The buzz is that Sony has secured the copyrights of the songs of ‘Dasavatharam’, and nearly two lakh CDs will be released.
It is not for nothing that Kollywood is waiting with bated breath for ‘Dasavatharam’, a big budget flick next only to Rajnikanth’s Sivaji , to unfold.
