Make no mistake about it. Sivaji heroine Shriya is going places.
Shriya, who made a none-too-impressive debut in Tamil cinema with ‘Mazhai’, hit the jackpot when she bagged the role of superstar Rajnikant 's heroine in ‘Sivaji’.
To use a cliché, Shriya has not looked back since. Buoyed by the ‘Sivaji’ success, Shriya hopped over to Bollywood with Awarapan in which Emran Hashmi was her hero.
It may not have set Bollywood on fire, but the film has become a big hit in Pakistan. In a way, Shriya's popularity has transcended national and cultural barriers!
The grapevine has it that Shriya has been snapped for another Hindi film with Vivek Oberoi in the male lead.
The lovely lass has gone global, too by bagging a role in a Hollywood flick in which Jessy Metcalf is the hero.
In Kollywood, Shriya's next film is ‘Kandasamy’ against Anniyan fame Vikram .
No wonder Ms Saran is all smiles. Why not? She richly deserves it.
