The 'provocative appearance' controversy that shrouded Bollywood sex-kitten Mallika Sherawat has finally ended.
A religious outfit, Hindu Makkal Katchi, had lodged a complaint against the Bollywood bombshell for sporting a revealing dress at Dasavatharam music launch function. The lawyers opined that how to dress is one's personal matter.
Chennai police consulted lawyers before swinging into action. Following the discussion with the lawyers, the police have decided not to take any legal action against Mallika.
The lawyers have categorically stated that no legal provision exists for moral policing.
Mallika was thought to be in trouble following a complaint from HMK leader Kaniraj to the police, alleging that she wore revealing dress at the ‘Dasavatharam’ audio release function. He claimed that the dress was “provocative and hurt the feelings of the people of Tamil Nadu".
Earlier, Shriya , who was caught in a similar controversy recently for sporting a “sexy” dress in Sivaji silver jubilee function, opted to submit unconditional apology.
