Reports are that Namitha was completely off-colour and couldn’t lift her legs even in a song sequence for Sarath Kumar starrer ‘1977’. 
The director then reportedly decided to just show off Namitha’s assets, making her emerge drenched from the sea-water instead of making her dance to taxing movements. And to help Namitha get rid of her ‘struggling’ act, the crew imported Sandhya Shetty to add a dash of fresh glamour. Namitha was rather slimmer when she came into films. Reportedly, the tall and ravishing beauty is trying to regain that shape through strict diet and yoga. The busty and buxom lass believes in maintaining her curves through diet and exercise. Namitha, currently acting in an array of films including ‘Jagan Mohini’, is happy about her success in films and says that she owes everything to her fans and is very careful about her attire in public appearances. “These days, an actress has to be extra careful on what she wears on public occasions. People may want to see your glamour on reel but not in real,” Namitha says.
