'Jaganmohini' Namitha ready to go underwater

The sex bomb of south will be getting wet and all that in a number of romantic scenes to be shot underwater on her and Raja, the male lead of the Tamil-Telugu bilingual.

For this underwater romance, both Namitha and Raja have undergone Scuba diving training. But it’s one thing to dive underwater, but another to enact a scene while being underwater. That’s the challenge that Namitha and Raja face for the underwater sequences that are to be shot in Mumbai from May 10 to 12.


Director K.Viswanathan reportedly plans to take all precautions before shooting the scenes.

A remake of the south blockbuster of the 80s by the same name, ‘Jaganmohini’ has Namitha playing a sexy woman who loves collecting pearls in the sea. She falls in love with a prince (Raja), but her love remains unfulfilled after she’s killed by the king. Later, she returns as a ghost.

Namitha has had to face many challenges while doing the film. Firstly, she had to learn to speak the ancient Tamil accent. Secondly, she learnt Scuba diving and underwater swimming.

But the sexy lady is convinced all the hard work will be paid back. She’s sure both the Tamil and Telugu versions of the film will be superhit.
