Hiccups over, beautiful Malayalam actress Mamta Mohandas is making her debut in Telugu cinema.
Saucy Mamta has been signed up to play the heroine in NTR's big-budget fantasy, ‘Yamadonga’. The movie will have another heroine, too.
Mamta had earlier been offered a role in ‘Aata’ opposite Siddharth. But she was later replaced by glam girl, Ileana.
Then, producer Sridhar offered her a role in a film with Uday Kiran. But this time around, Mamta said a polite "No".
Meanwhile, her Tamil debut film, ‘Sivappathikaram’ is doing well at the box office, according to industry circles.
In Malayalam, her film with megastar Mohanlal , Baba Kalyani is set for release this month.
On the whole, the going has been good for Ms Mohandas who made a big splash with her dare-and-bare role in Malayalam movie, Lanka opposite action hero Suresh Gopi .
Looks like she will make similar waves in Tollywood, too, with her magical screen presence.
