Kangana Ranaut forays into Telugu films

Language is not the barrier, and Kangana is set to prove that with her debut in a Telugu film opposite Prabhas. The movie also marks the coming together of director Puri Jagannath and Prabhas since ‘Bujjigadu’ in 2007. The film will come from the production house Aditya Movies of Aditya Ram, who has just ventured into film production.

Kangana has done Tamil movie ‘Dhaam Dhoom’ which released last year and had a successful run at the box office. She played the role of Shenba, a village girl.


With this untitled Telugu film, she is all set to woo her fans down south. The lady is already on cloud nine with two back-to-back hits Fashion and now Raaz - The Mystery Continues .

It’s heard that director Puri Jagannath wanted to launch this project with Kangana only. The actress was in Hyderabad for the film’s photo-shoot recently.

Actresses mostly take the South route when they are not successful in Bollywood. So at this juncture, Kangana’s decision to do a regional film comes as a surprise.
