Waiting for Namitha's Jaganmohini?

‘Jaganmohini’, starring Namitha in the title role, is being eagerly awaited by her fans who not just want to know how director SK Viswanathan gives a new treatment to the old story, but also how Namitha pulls off the part of the beautiful nymph.

Explaining the delay in the film, producer H Murali recently told the press: “The film production is getting delayed due to the graphic shots. Presently patchwork is in progress. We will complete all the other formalities as soon as possible and have plans to release the film on June 15.”


The producer added that the film’s team wants the underwater scenes featuring Namitha to be the film’s highlight and therefore top quality graphic work is being done in those portions.

The movie also stars Raja and Meera Chopra. It is inspired from the old film ‘Jaganmohini’ of Vithalacharya. But the director has given a new treatment to the old story to suit the contemporary cinematic tastes.

The movie has reportedly been shot in Hyderabad, Andaman, Vizag, Talakona and several other locations.
