Over fifty-three designers and forty-eight models will participate in the coming Lakme India Fashion Week from August 2 to 8 in New Delhi.
The Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) has recently announced the names of male and female models who will sashay down the ramp at the LIFW 2002. Aditi Gowitrikar, Neha Dhupia, Jesse Randhawa, Sampada Inamdar, Viveka Babajee and Yana Gupta are among the chosen female models.
The male models include Rahul Dev, Zulfi Sayeed and Rajat Raina.
A host of fashion designers including Ritu Kumar, Tarun Tahiliani, Aki Narula, Rocky S and Monisha Bajaj will showcase their creations at the fashion week in two categories – pret-a-porter (ready to wear) and diffusion.
