India’s Raghu Mukherjee is Grasim Mr. International

Bangalore boy Raghu Mukherjee beat participants from 26 countries to win the fifth Grasim Mr. International title in New Delhi.
Raghu, who is in his early 20s and has acted in south Indian films, won a golden statuette with the eagle head insignia of Grasim, one of India's leading textile brands. He was also awarded $6,000 and a golden opportunity to be promoted by the Model 1 agency of London.
Mukherjee, who excelled in the weeklong contest of looks, fitness and intelligence, said he was “thrilled and ecstatic” at clinching the title.
Mr. Venezuela, Julio Cabrera, was declared the first runner up of the contest followed by Odysseas Karousis of Greece.
The Best National Costume award went to Mr. Singapore Remy Low while the golden voiced Mr. Curacao, from the Caribbean holiday island, bagged the Best Talent prize.
The jury for the contest included Indian director Ashutosh Lagaan Gowariker, fashion designer Rina Dhaka, cricketer Gordon Greenidge, gorgeous Greek actress Franceska Mella and director of Model 1 agency Kathy Pryer.
