With the mercury rising by the day, Indian fashion designers are doling out tips regarding what clothes to wear in the summer.
Rina Dhaka who is currently the attention of Indian Fashion industry, particularly after her award winning collection at Fashion Week of Americas in Miami, believes that a right sense of dressing could take the sting out of the scorching Indian summer.
Rina suggests that people should avoid wearing synthetic shirts and replace them with thin-clothed Kurta shirts.
"Go for Kurta shirts with draw-string pants in corduroy or plain cotton. Sleeveless tops should only be worn in the evenings to avoid suntan. And to stay in tune with the latest summer trend, you can try the combination of capris with bright green, turquoise and fuchsia tops," is Rina’s advice.
Another designer Ashish Soni suggests the use of pure cotton and linen clothes. "Go for cap sleeves and kaftan tops or North African loose ponchos in cotton," he says.
Anju Modi, another designer, agrees with Soni and advise the use of cotton, linen or chiffon.
