Delhi-based designer Aki Narula has designed the outfits for the star cast of Samir Karnik’s Kyon, Ho Gaya Na .
Aki Narula started designing outfits for Bollywood with Mira Nair’s film ‘Monsoon Wedding’. And now he is the man behind the casual look of the stars Aishwarya Rai , Vivek Oberoi and Amitabh Bachchan in Kyon, Ho Gaya Na .
Aki says he designed the clothes for the movie keeping in mind its romantic and fun-loving theme. So he designed casual outfits comprising jeans, T-shirts and Kurti’s for Ash and he settled for a more rugged, ‘street-clothing’ look for Vivek.
But what excited Narula the most was designing for Amitabh Bachchan and Om Puri.
“I have given both of them a sporty look with Cargo pants and bright pullovers,” says Narula.
Eventually, Narula will also be designing outfits for Bachchan, his son Abhishek and actress Rani Mukherjee in Shaad Ali’s next movie Bunty Aur Babli .
