India’s leading fashion designer Ritu Beri married a Delhi-based industrialist in a glittering ceremony that she described as “better than dream wedding”.
Ritu tied the nuptial knot with Bobby Chadha at a sprawling farmhouse near Delhi on Wednesday afternoon. Ritu, who is in her mid-thirties, has known Bobby (in his mid forties) for last three years.
Ritu was dressed in a self-designed rose-pink Lehenga for her wedding.
“Its better than my dream wedding actually. I am very happy, it's different,” she said.
Her groom Chadha added that the ceremony was just perfect and couldn’t have been better.
The wedding was attended by Beri's mentor, French style guru Francois Lesage, Bollywood actress Rekha , fashion designers Rohit Bal , Sunit Bajaj, Manvinder Khosla and political personalities like Vijay Goel and Praful Patel.
Ritu Beri is a graduate of the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT). She is the brain behind her labels ‘Sanskriti’ and ‘Lavanya’ and has been India's unofficial fashion ambassador to style capitals of the world like Paris, London and New York.
