It might have been an embarrassment for Carol. But the way she handled it all, with calm and poise, made her wardrobe malfunction just a passing incident that probably brought her more praise than embarrassment. 
It happened during the display of designer Bennu Sehgal’s collection. Carol was wearing a halter neck dress. As she walked on the ramp, the tiny strings of her outfit came off and her top slipped down. Without betraying the slightest of emotion, Carol simply pulled her top up and sashayed her walk with calm and grace. She showed amazing professionalism. Later on, designer Bennu Sehgal commented on the incident: “It was purely accidental. The strings came off and there was nothing we could have done. However, Carol handled it beautifully, with grace and dignity.” What was more appreciable about Carol was that she continued the show and appeared in other shows in the evening as well. And at the end of the day, she deservingly received applause from the audience. |
