HOME | SCOOP!! & NEWS | FASHION IIFA fashion show raises $75,000 for charity 19th June 2006  17.45 IST By Agencies   A charity fashion show, held during the International Indian Film Academy Weekend in Dubai, has raised $ 75,000 for the IIFA Foundation to support families of workers injured during the making of Bollywood films. Superstar Amitabh Bachchan accepted three cheques of $ 25,000 each from firms co-sponsoring the event. Actors Feroz Khan , Ayesha Takia , filmmaker Karan Johar and choreographer Shiamak Davar modelled the latest creations of fashion designers Manish Malhotra and Vikram Phadnis at the World Trade Centre. A plethora stars including Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Ritesh Deshmukh, Shilpa Shetty and Shiney Ahuja attended the function hosted by actress Dia Mirza.
