She has reportedly dumped her trusted designer Rick Roy for some bigger names. Rick was not just Kangana’s designer but also a good friend. Not for nothing had the actress insisted to director Madhur Bhandarkar and UTV to have Rick design her outfits in Fashion even though the production house had already roped in two designers Rita Dhody and Narendra Kumar for the flick. 
Rift between Kangana and Rick appeared with Mukesh Bhatt’s Raaz 2 in which Kangana plays the female lead. Instead of Rick, Rocky S was signed to design Kangana’s outfits and the actress had no problem with it. And now, for Rakesh Roshan’s home production Kites – costarring Hrithik Roshan and Barbara Mori – Rick has again been given the miss and the experienced Suneet Varma has been roped in. Rumours have it that the rift between Kangana and Rick happened because he began working with Jiah Khan , who asked him for clothes like Kangana is used to wearing. This sparked off a sort of cold war between the two actresses and Rick seems to have become the casualty. Well, the designer himself maintains that he is not doing Kangana’s clothes in ‘Raaz 2’ and ‘Kites’ because he normally designs glamourous clothes and therefore was not suited to design for Kangana in the two films. Does he mean to say that Kangana doesn’t have glamourous role in these films?
