Katrina Kaif in purple on Vogue cover

The year-end edition of Vogue is available for you. The reigning queen of Bollywood is featured in a gorgeous silk purple Versace dress for the December 2008 edition. Purple signifies opulence, glory and majesty and the lady who is riding high with six hits in the past definitely signifies purple.

Katrina Kaif’s last hit Singh Is Kinng placed her in the numero uno position. She replaced Aishwarya Rai as a brand ambassador for Nakshatra-diamond jewellery. Nakshatra tagged her as ‘Goddess of Luck’ for promotions.


The lady was on the cover page of Vogue for February 2008 edition. And she is lucky to be on Vogue again within a span of 10 months. But her look on the February edition was indeed far better than this one. February edition saw her as a divine beauty from heaven in a pink creation by Jean Paul Gaultier.

Katrina’s December cover page look lacks an oomph factor. She is all royal in purple but her presence is cold like the winter and the box-office collection of ‘Yuvvraaj’. But the lady’s make-up is kept subtle and the shade of her lip colour is lovely.

Nevertheless, Katrina has four films lined up for the coming year. Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani with Ranbir Kapoor New York with John Abraham , De Dhana Dhan and Blue with her favourite co-star Akshay Kumar.
