Shilpa Shetty chic and cool on Vogue cover

She is every bit chic and cool on the cover page, stylishly striking a pose that accentuates her slender waist. The lady has worn a simple blue-coloured ruffled short top in satin with a frayed denim skirt. Vogue is adding chill to the summers with theme colours white and blue for the cover design.

The magazine carries story about Shilpa’s stint as a business woman with the title ‘The Business of being Shilpa Shetty’. Her beau and business partner Raj Kundra goes on to say in the magazine: “I saw the international appeal Shilpa had and suggested she make a brand of herself. She’s taken to business like a fish to water. I call her India's Martha Stewart.”


About herself and the metamorphosis in her life, the lady chirped: “I like the idea of reinventing myself, of moulding and enhancing one’s personality...I am not someone you would call a conventional beauty”.

True indeed! By the way, Shilpa gave a somewhat similar interview to Grazia last month, when she opened up about her growing years and her journey from a girl who was once called an ‘ugly duckling’ and to one of the sexiest women in Bollywood.

Well, speaking about her looks on the Vogue cover, it is much better than some of her recent shoots. She looks her sensuous best with cent percent oomph exuding right from her make-up to her dress and her chilled-out attitude. Kudos to Vogue for re-affirming our faith that Shilpa can do good covers! Remember her Cosmopolitan April issue and the one as a cricket woman on Hi Living in the same month. Drab!!!
