SCOOP!! & NEWS Bruce Willis in Shekhar Kapoor film18th Mar 2005 18.27 IST By AKC Bureau Hollywood star Bruce Willis will act in an American psycho thriller to be directed by India-born filmmaker Shekhar Kapoor . Shekhar, who has made films like ‘Elizabeth’ and ‘Bandit Queen’, is reported by Hollywood trade publications to have been signed by the production house New Line Cinema to direct a movie titled ‘Solace’.
‘Solace’ will be a thriller about serial killers and a doctor with extraordinary psychic powers. Bruce Willis will play the doctor in the film. The budget for the movie is estimated to be somewhat around $40 million. The film will be shot in North America. Kapoor’s last film ‘The Four Feathers’ was a failure three years ago. Even Bruce’s career has been on decline after the peak it reached with the worldwide success of Manoj Night Shyamalan’s film ‘The Sixth Sense’ a few years back. Besides ‘Solace’, Kapoor is also slated to direct a Telefilm on the Rwanda civil war and a full-length feature film on the life of South African revolutionary Nelson Mandela.
