Indian production house Percept Picture Company is all set to invest in what could be India’s first truly Hollywood film, titled ‘Tree of Life’.
The movie will most likely star Hollywood’s Mel Gibson and Colin Farrell. The film is a drama and will be directed by Oscar-winner Terence Malik, who has made films like ‘Thin Red Line’ and ‘Days of Heaven’.
It is believed that the Mumbai-based production house Percept Picture Company is in negotiations to sign the $145 million deal within coming days.
In the past, Percept Picture Company has produced films like Makdee and Phir Milenge .
Fifteen per cent of ‘Tree of Life’ will be shot in India, while the rest will be shot on locations abroad.
