HOME | SCOOP!! & NEWS | HOLLYWOOD Liz Hurley eyes Taj Mahal for breast cancer charity13th Oct 2005 17.50 IST British beauty Elizabeth Hurley is looking forward to organize a benefit event in Agra, against the backdrop of Taj Mahal, for her Breast Cancer Research Foundation charity work. Liz’s love affair with India began with her beau Arun Nayar, an Indian-born entrepreneur who has been seeing the actress for some years now. Just last year, Liz came to India to attend a big party in Rajasthan where she was “enthralled” by the colours, traditions and Indian customs. 
Now, Liz is eyeing Taj Mahal, the monument of love, for her charity work involving raising awareness for breast cancer. And if things work out in her favour, she has plans to ‘paint’ the Taj Mahal pink, in keeping with the colour scheme of breast cancer charity dos. Pagesix quoted Liz as saying: “I am trying to get a hold of someone in India who could help me. I want to do a huge benefit next year in Agra at the Taj Mahal where we turn the Taj pink for Breast Cancer Awareness.” However, the great Taj will be turned pink not by any dye or paint, but simply by the use of lights. It remains to be seen whether she manages to paint pink this wonder of the world.
