That is how Hollywood actress Eva Mendes became comfortable before shooting a lovemaking scene for her latest movie ‘We Own The Night’.
The 33-year-old actress has a very passionate sex scene with co-star Joaquin Phoenix in the beginning of ‘We Own The Night’.
Eva, who admits that she is comfortable in being nude at home, was reportedly a bundle of nerves before shooting the sex scene.
"It's not a natural thing on camera, so it's always going to be a little awkward. It was tough. That morning I was so nervous that the director was like, 'Why don't you put a little vodka in your orange juice?'. So I did. It took the edge off,” Dailysnack.com quoted Mendes as saying.
Mendes said the scene turned out to be so hot that she had to make sure that her mama did not see it in the film.
“I told my mom she has to come 15 minutes late. She wouldn't live through that first scene - she'd have a heart attack,” Mendes is quoted as saying.
In fact, some critics who have reviewed the film have called it a very raunchy sex scene.
Meanwhile, Mendes adds she loves going nude at home. She candidly admits that she even does gardening in nude.
