Keira Knightley scared of Oscars!

The lanky, pretty British actor Keira Knightley divulges the fact that she is scared of winning at Oscars.

Keira has given a wonderful performance in her recently premiered film 'The Duchess' in which she portrays the character of an 18th century aristocrat Georgiana, Duchess of Devonshire, who was detested for her profligate political and personal life.

Knightley, who was previously nominated at the Oscars for her performance in 'Pride And Prejudice', is already being seen as a favourite to win the most desirable award next year for her performance in 'The Duchess'.

However, the 23-year-old stunner said she is scared of giving an acceptance speech at the Academy Awards.

"I would probably s**t myself if I had to give a speech," she is quoted as saying.

Keira admitted that there is an element of fear, when you have to give speech and walk around in a designer dress. The 'Pirates of the Caribbean' star even went on to say that she "hates red-carpet events".

Well, let's hope this young Hollywood star wins the Oscars that might help her overcome her fear. As 'The Duchess' is her best after 'Pride And Prejudice'.
