Shilpa Shetty invited to Jade Goody's wedding

The Bollywood star’s tormentor in Big Brother’s house is battling with cervical cancer and has been told by the doctors that the disease has become terminal. The UK’s reality TV star is now set to marry on the coming Sunday. She has invited Shilpa but the Bollywood actress won’t be able to attend the ceremony because she would be busy shooting her film.

Shilpa called Jade last Sunday and spoke to her.


“It was a warm friendly chat. Shilpa wanted Jade to know she was thinking of her and it really lifted her spirits,” a source close to Goody told 'Daily Mail'.

Shilpa also told Jade she was praying for her. Sadly, Jade also invited Shilpa to her funeral, as doctors have told her that she has only few months left to live.

Meanwhile, Goody has secured a £700,000 deal with OK! magazine for the rights to capture her wedding to 21-year-old Jack Tweed on Sunday. The magazine has also got the rights to the pictures of the christening of Goody's sons ahead of the wedding ceremony.

Shilpa and Jade became good friends when the latter came to India to take part in ‘Bigg Boss’ reality show which was being hosted by Shilpa. Ironically, Jade came to know about her cervical cancer while she was on the show and bowed out mid-way.
