She may have been known for her chirpiness, but now Juhi Chawla says that she is only looking for serious roles in Bollywood.
Talking to a leading newspaper, Juhi whose My Brother Nikhil hit the theatres last week, said that she thinks that she would look funny running around trees, she has done enough of jhatka-matkas.
Juhi added that she has outgrown romantic roles, she is a seasoned artist now and can perform in films of all genres.
On doing romantic roles, Juhi said that she’ll accept the role only if it is a mature romance, or the story of a husband and wife, she'd fit into that. But she insisted that she cannot go to college again (in the film) nor can she get married in a film.
Juhi added that she is looking for only serious acting now and is not focussing on any big project. She has just wrapped up a couple of films were she has guest appearances.
On motherhood she said it's the best thing to happen to any woman. It makes her feel nice.
