No competition between Aishwarya Rai and myself: Sushmita Sen

It was in the same year that both the elegant Sushmita Sen and the gorgeous Aishwarya Rai were crowned Miss Universe and Miss World respectively.

Comparisons were made at that moment and continued when both made their forays into Bollywood.

Though both the beauty queens have always denied any competition or comparisons, their careers and lives were followed closely.

And now both Sush and Ash are on the verge of playing the same character in two different movies – and it is the character of Rani Lakshmibai.

But Sush doesn’t mind Ash playing the same character of Rani Lakshmibai in another director's movie.

She said in an interview, "A director can make a movie in fifty different ways. Besides, a character can act a role in so many ways. Therefore there is no competition between Aishwarya Rai and myself ".

Sush was referring to the report that Ash is also playing the historical character of the Rani Lakshmibai in a rival movie.

Sush added that she would soon be traveling to Argentina in connection with Richard Gere's movie 'Expects'.

"I am playing the role of a Pakistani girl in this movie. In spite of this, I am not keen on acting in Hollywood movies. I want to act in Spanish, French and Indian movies."

Though she believes that Hollywood is a better planned industry as compared to Bollywood, yet she said she had no idea of shifting to Hollywood.

Sush is acting in 'Karma Confession & Holy' with Randeep Hooda .

In a query about her future plans, Sush said that she has turned 30 last November and wants to concentrate in the coming decade on her acting career, business and personal life.

"I wish to retire at the age of 40", she said.

That’s Sush for you – graceful and elegant as ever.
